35th Hunter Hotel Investment Conference Announces Featured Speakers and New Initiatives

The Hunter Hotel Investment Conference (“HUNTER”) today announces featured speakers and new initiatives integrated into this year’s program. The additions to the 2024 schedule underscore HUNTER’s commitment to incorporating new topics and perspectives into its expanded attendee base, positioning itself as the hospitality industry’s premier conference.

Among the distinguished speakers, HUNTER welcomes Cassie Kozyrkov, Google’s first Chief Decision Scientist, to lead an engaging session on artificial intelligence and its evolving impact on the hospitality industry. Additionally, the 2024 speaker lineup features Oz Pearlman, a renowned mentalist known for his appearances on America’s Got Talent, the TODAY Show, The Ellen DeGeneres Show, Late Night with Jimmy Fallon and more. Pearlman will captivate the audience with an engaging lunchtime performance, providing a refreshing mental break amid the conference’s busy agenda. Other keynote speakers to take the stage at HUNTER include Ed Bastian, CEO of Delta Air Lines; Anthony Capuano, president and CEO of Marriott International; and Leslie Hale, president and CEO of RLJ Lodging Trust.

This year’s conference marks a significant milestone, with 51% of speakers representing diversity, including women and underrepresented groups. This achievement epitomizes HUNTER’s commitment to showcasing a wide range of voices and perspectives to its growing audience.

“Every event benefits from greater diversity of thought and balance in its speaker lineup. Having speakers with a wide range of perspectives on stage is a benefit to attendees while providing greater visibility for these leaders, which will further move the needle on overall representation in the hospitality industry,” said Rachel Humphrey, founder of the Women in Hospitality Leadership Alliance.

In addition, HUNTER announces the introduction of new initiatives at this year’s event, which will become regular at future conferences. Most importantly, HUNTER presents “The Table”, an inclusive initiative that invites attendees to participate in roundtable discussions facilitated by industry professionals from diverse backgrounds, experiences and careers. In collaboration with the Women in Hospitality Leadership Alliance, the Table represents the only session open to both registered and non-registered attendees, highlighting HUNTER’s commitment to amplifying all voices within the industry. Another notable initiative added to this year’s programming is the student-focused panel titled “Class of 2024.” This session, featuring a mix of students and industry figures such as Geoff Ballotti, president and CEO of Wyndham Hotels and Resorts, and Kevin Osterhaus, president of Graduate Hotels, will explore the intersection of academia and hospitality, reflecting the growing involvement of colleges at HUNTER conferences. In partnership with over 13 universities across the country, this initiative reflects HUNTER’s passion to invest in the next generation of hospitality leaders as the conference proudly welcomes over 100 students to this year’s event.

“As we celebrate our 35th conference, we continue to grow the program, perspectives and themes year after year,” said Lee Hunter, chairman of the Hunter Hotel Investment Conference. “With participants at the forefront of every part of the planning process, I’m incredibly proud of our team for purposefully crafting this year’s innovative programming, featuring distinguished speakers and impactful sessions that will debut at HUNTER.”

The conference takes place March 19-21, 2024 at the Atlanta Marriott Marquis. For more information about HUNTER, including the conference schedule and registration details, please visit hunterconference.com.
