A Florida entrepreneur says liberals are living in a delusional land if they think they’re the majority

A popular conservative social media personality claims that liberals are exaggerating their political influence, and insists that conservative voices are a silent majority suppressed by fear of job loss.

A self-described entrepreneur and CEO, Sabina Gilman posted her thoughts on the power of the silent majority in her TikTok video in response to threats to send her posts to her employer.

“I’m my own employer,” Gilman explained. “I’m the CEO of my own company.”

According to Gilman, there are more conservatives than liberals in the country, but most of them cannot speak their minds openly in offices dominated by the latter because of the threat of dismissal or cultural cancellation. Gilman cited messages from some of his followers, calling them “silent conservatives” who were afraid to risk their jobs by sharing Gilman’s posts.

“Liberals think they’re the majority in this country. Guys, you’re not. We’re not the majority in this country. The problem is if we speak up and we don’t align with the liberal narrative, the liberal agenda, immediately, you guys try to fire us, try to cancel us, our jobs, our education. “Gilman. “And that’s where the line is drawn.”

As Gilman explained, this does not apply to her as a self-employed business owner. “People can’t lose their jobs. People can’t get fired. I, on the other hand, say whatever I want, because you guys can’t fire me. I’m my own boss. So I’ll be a spokesperson.”

Gilman supported her statement with the story of her friend, a nurse from Florida, who said she was encouraged by other nurses to post about a person killed in an ICE operation in a private conversation because silence implies complicity.

In his view, that’s like posting a black square in solidarity with George Floyd protesters in June 2020, when failing to do so is calling yourself a racist.

“It immediately gave me a PTSD flashback to when the whole situation was going on with George Floyd, and everyone was posting little black squares,” Gilman said. “And if you didn’t post a black square, you were labeled a racist. And that’s really when I got into the era where I was a rebel and didn’t give a shit about what people thought or said. I didn’t post that black square.”

According to Gilman, the experience taught him to ignore social pressure. “I can’t imagine working at a typical left-leaning corporate company, where I can’t speak my beliefs. If I were making these videos, these liberals would be coming after me left and right, trying to fire me. And it’s crazy that they think they can speak their mind and we can’t be us in this country.”

Gilman then went further, noting that her nurse friend encouraged her to post about people killed in ICE operations, but no such encouragement was provided when popular conservative commentator Charlie Kirk died recently.

“When Charlie Kirk passed away, did those people in your small group chat also tell you that we should post stories on Instagram and express our grief? No. Nobody said anything,” Gilman insisted. “The hypocrisy of the left is absolutely absurd to me.”

However, despite his criticism of liberals, Gilman does not suggest that all conservatives should boldly express their views.

“I’m not saying that everyone should speak up, because I understand that a lot of people are physically unable to. Everyone has their own circumstances that they’re in, and we can’t force people to have conversations that they don’t want to have,” Gilman noted.

Still, she hopes to be a source of inspiration for other conservatives to speak out about politics. “Maybe I can be an advocate for others to speak up and use me as a little piece of inspiration, like, if she can do it, so can I. Because I really think we’re in the position we’re in because a lot of people don’t speak up.”
