President Donald Trump has undermined his vice president while he’s in the middle of peace talks with a true social rant invoking Allah about the assassination of Iranian leaders.
“The fake news media has lost complete credibility, not that they had any to begin with,” Trump, 79, wrote in a Saturday morning rant. “Because of their massive Trump Derangement Syndrome (sometimes known as TDS!), they like to say Iran is ‘winning’ when, in fact, everyone knows they are losing and losing big!”
Trump claimed that Iran’s “navy is gone, their air force is gone, their anti-aircraft equipment is non-existent, their radar is dead, their missile and drone factories are largely destroyed along with the missiles and drones themselves, and most importantly, their long-time ‘leaders’ are no longer with us, praise be to Allah”.

The president’s announcement came as talks between Iran and US officials began on Saturday in Islamabad, Pakistan. Trump’s post made no mention of the talks Vice President JD Vance is leading with special envoy Steve Wittkoff and Trump’s son-in-law Jared Kushner.
Vance’s demands differed from those Kushner and Wittkoff had advanced in negotiations.
The vice president has been adamant that Iran should not have uranium enrichment capacity, the material used to make nuclear weapons, while Kushner and Witkoff negotiated a soft deal in which the U.S. would actually supply Iran with uranium for civilian use.
Kushner and Witkoff had been leading negotiations with Iran over its nuclear program, but those efforts apparently did not succeed as Trump launched his unofficial war with the country on February 28.

Iran has said it would prefer not to deal with the president’s son-in-law or Witkoff, as administration officials said they viewed the talks with Kushner and Witkoff as signs that the Trump administration believed Iran was negotiating in good faith.
Iran has said it would prefer to negotiate only with Vance, who has long opposed US military intervention in the Middle East.
The president’s post also claimed that the U.S. is working to reopen the Strait of Hormuz “as a favor” to the country’s allies and enemies — because average U.S. gas prices rose in March more than in any month since 1967.
“We are now beginning the process of evacuating the Strait of Hormuz in favor of countries around the world, including China, Japan, South Korea, France, Germany and many others. Unbelievably, they do not have the courage or the will to do this,” Trump wrote.
It is not clear what exactly is involved in cleaning the strait.
As a result of Trump’s war, Iran effectively closed all important waterways to shipping. It has emerged as a key lever for Tehran amid skyrocketing global gas and oil prices.
The president added that “the most interesting thing is that ships carrying empty oil from many nations are all going to the United States to fill up.”
Trump has been pleading with US allies to help open the strait, but they have been largely reluctant to do so. As a result, his administration is weighing punishments for NATO allies that do not fully support the president’s war on Iran.
The strait has become such a headache for Trump that he threatened to kill the entire Iranian population if they didn’t back up, a threat that was later backed off after the US and Iran reached a ceasefire agreement.

In another post on Truth Social Saturday morning, Trump made a pitch for “sweetened” U.S. crude oil.
“Large numbers of completely empty oil tankers, the largest anywhere in the world, are now heading to the United States to load the best and ‘sweetest’ oil (and gas!) anywhere in the world,” he said.
Makes a pitch for Trump
