It was bound to happen eventually, and it seems the time was right for a man flipping the calendar to 2026 to publicly consider that the question surrounding aliens is not “what if” but instead, “when?” There have been a growing number of theories and beliefs surrounding the existence of aliens, and the topic seems to have intensified over the past year. Now, the long-time former employee who spent 10 years at the Bank of England has reportedly switched from theories to full-blown warnings about life outside. Interestingly, the largest reported driving factors behind this warning came from the United States, and it is believed that a significant disclosure is on the horizon.

In a story that has no shortage of eye-opening news, Helen McCauley, who serves as a senior analyst in financial security at the Bank of England, sent a message to the bank with an important alien warning. Lack of it? McCauley wrote to the bank’s governor, Andrew Bailey, urging the United States, particularly the White House, to prepare for the possibility that extraterrestrial life could be confirmed. The Sunday Times Reported.
McCaw’s broader concerns include his belief that if the White House made the announcement, it would have a significant impact on markets and could ignite a bank collapse. She pointed out that the United States has been “through a multi-year process of uncovering and uncovering information” regarding alien life forms. The Times.
“The United States government appears to be part of a multi-year process to declassify and disclose information about the existence of technologically advanced non-human intelligence responsible for unidentified anomalous phenomena (UAPs),” she claimed.
While there is no shortage of outspoken believers issuing warnings and discussing the matter on social media platforms, the comments from a long-time member of the Bank of England will no doubt turn heads.
A long-time Bank of England employee expanded on the matter, discussing the possibility of “greater power or intelligence than any government”, referring to “unknown intentions”. McCaw added his belief that government leadership and central banks may not be “properly informed” about aliens or other life forms.
“If the UAP is proven to be of non-human origin, we may have to accept the existence of a force or intelligence greater than any government, and possibly with unknown motives,” McCaw said.
“It is entirely possible that government leadership and their central banks have not been properly briefed on the matter. The UAP disclosure is likely to provoke ontological trauma and psychological reactions with material consequences.”
In summary, here are some tidbits of McCaw’s reported message to the Governor of the Bank of England, viz. The Times Reported.
McCaw urges the Bank of England to plan for a possible financial crisis after the existence of alien life is confirmed.
McCaw spent 10 years as a senior analyst on financial security at the bank and wrote to Bank of England Governor Andrew Bailey.
Citing the possibility that it could “trigger the collapse of the bank,” McCaw noted his belief that the United States government is “partway through” the process of declassifying and disclosing information on the matter.
The former bank employee believes that this is “not well communicated to the entire potential government leadership and their central bankers.”
It describes his likely rationale for urging the Bank of England governor to prepare for the possibility of an outlier, citing potentially “extreme price volatility in financial markets due to disaster or euphoria”. McCaw also mentioned the chance of a “collapse in confidence”, suggesting that people feel uncertain about the market and how to do it.
Obviously, no one outside the government or the banking industry can predict for sure how or if the topic of aliens will be discussed. But for at least one longtime senior analyst in banking financial security, she believes she may not have been sufficiently prepared, and feels strongly that the news won’t come too far down the road.
