The president’s holiday message came days after the latest batch of files released in the Epstein case contained unproven rape allegations against Trump. The document, dated October 27, 2020, appears to be an FBI intake report that includes the former limo driver’s account. Although most of the names have been redacted, the text details an alleged 1999 visit between the driver, his son and an unidentified woman. The driver claimed he met Trump years earlier in 1995, when he drove the real estate mogul to Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport.

The document reads, “[Driver] Some of the things President Trump said on his cell phone during the trip were very disturbing. “It says, “[Driver] On the phone, Trump repeatedly mentioned the name ‘Jeffrey’ and mentioned that he had ‘molested some girls’. [Driver] He was not sure who he was talking to and who he was referring to.”

According to the report, the driver alleged that while he was recalling the story of the phone call from Trump, the unidentified woman he was with became “stone cold.” Describing the driver’s unsubstantiated allegations, the document reads, “[Woman] ‘He raped me.’ [Driver] Said, ‘What?’ Like [Woman] “Donald J. Trump along with Jeffrey Epstein raped her.” “

The Justice Department has taken proactive measures against the claims when it released the documents, saying in a statement on Tuesday, December 23, on social media that the pages contained “false and sensational claims against President Trump that were submitted to the FBI before the 2020 election.”

The document releases The Epstein files are all part of the Transparency Act, which Trump signed in November to compel the Justice Department to release files related to the Epstein investigation, albeit with important exceptions and amendments. Trump, who had a documented relationship with Epstein and featured in several photos in the previously-released files, had previously opposed the law.

The president spent much of the holiday week focusing on his victories and failures, using Christmas Eve to brag about winning the state of Pennsylvania in the 2024 presidential election with children.

On December 24, the President participated in the NORAD Santa Claus Calls, accepting calls from children across the nation. When a kid from Pennsylvania called, Trump told him his home state was “great.” “We won Pennsylvania—three times, in fact,” the president continued. “We won it in a landslide. That’s why I love Pennsylvania.”
