Here is every photo, video of interest from the Brown University mass shooting person

The manhunt for the gunman who killed two students and wounded nine others in a Brown University classroom on Saturday extended into Wednesday as investigators released new photos and videos of a person of interest.

Law enforcement officials described the person of interest as about 5-feet-8 inches tall with a “stocky build.”

Photos and videos shared by police show a man dressed in black, wearing a beanie and face mask, walking down the street near Brown about two hours before the shooting.

Providence police, working with the FBI — which is offering a $50,000 reward for information leading to the shooter’s arrest — have shared images of the steps in hopes the public can identify a suspect.

Shots were fired on the first floor of the Barus & Holley Engineering and Physics building around 4 pm on Saturday.

The gunman left the building along Hope Street and took a right onto Waterman Street, police said. Meanwhile, the school and surrounding communities went into a 12-hour lockdown while investigators combed the area.

The two students killed in the attack have been identified as sophomore Ella Cook and first-year student Muhammad Aziz Umarzhokov. Cook was the vice president of Brown University’s College Republicans, while Umarzokov was an aspiring neurosurgeon at the school. Both were remembered for their kindness and the impact they had on the lives they touched.

As of Tuesday evening, one of the seven students injured in the shooting is in critical condition. Five others were in critical but stable condition and one was in stable condition, according to law enforcement and Brown University. Two people have been discharged from Rhode Island Hospital.

As the search operation drags into its fifth day, here’s a look at every image or video released by the police department.

Enhanced video, images shared on Tuesday

The Providence Police Department has shared the latest photos and video depicting a person of interest in the Tuesday night mass shooting.

Providence Police Chief Col. Oscar L. Perez Jr. advised the public at a news conference Tuesday evening to focus on the body movements and movements of the people shown in the videos.

“You want to focus on body movement, how the person moves their arms, body posture, the way they carry their weight,” he said.

The video shows a dark-skinned man wearing a black face mask, gloves and hat around 2pm on Saturday.

It shows him walking around the neighborhood, turning his head and stopping at certain points. In one part, a man stops on the sidewalk and holds his hands behind his back.

Three photos, new video shared on Monday

On Monday night, the FBI and Providence police shared three new photos of a person of interest.

They appeared to show a man wearing a dark jacket, pants, boots, beanie and face mask walking down Hope Street near the university about two hours before the shooting, authorities said.

Additionally, law enforcement shared videos from surrounding neighborhoods.

The first video of the person of interest was shared Saturday night

The first photo of the man wanted in Saturday’s mass shooting was released by Providence police at 10 p.m. and shared on video an hour later.

The video shows a person of interest dressed in all black leaving the building and walking down Hope Street. He then took a right onto Waterman Street. His face was not visible in the video and there was no timestamp.
