“Israeli Spy” – Stephen Curry faces backlash over “millions” in controversial tech investment

Stephen Curry has been playing exceptional basketball this season and shows no signs of slowing down despite approaching his 38th birthday. His averages of 27.3 points and 4.9 assists on 46.8 percent shooting, 39.0 percent from deep and 93.0 percent from the free-throw line earned him a spot as an All-Star starter.

With a 27-22 record, the Golden State Warriors sit in eighth place in the highly competitive Western Conference. However, Jimmy Butler recently suffered a season-ending injury, which has significantly affected the ambitions of Steve Kerr’s team.

Curry’s alleged ties to Israeli spies

Still, this may not be the worst news to hit the four-time NBA champion, as his alleged ties to the war in Gaza have recently come under public scrutiny. The latest information on the story was reported by Nate Bear “¡Don’t Panic!” Website.

“American basketball star Stephen Curry is investing in tech startups run by former IDF operatives who were integral to building Israel’s digital architecture of apartheid and genocide,” Bear wrote.

“Cree, considered one of sports’ all-time greats and a self-proclaimed social justice advocate, has invested in companies both run and staffed by former Israeli spies through his venture capital firm Penny Jar Capital.” Bear added.

A set of unfortunate circumstances?

Since the start of the war in Gaza, Israel’s military campaign has drawn intense international attention, with mounting civilian casualties, scale of destruction, and accusations of war crimes fueling global protests and increased scrutiny of anyone linked to Israel.

As “Penny Jar Capital”, it focuses on high-growth technology companies. Although some of those startups have ties to Israel’s cybersecurity sector, there is no evidence that Curry himself is politically involved or supports Israeli government or military operations, nor does he oversee the day-to-day operations of each investment. As such, it can also be viewed as an unfortunate circumstance.

However, fans reacted to the news in what can only be described as frenzy. Social media is now awash with insults directed at Steph, who has often been labeled a hypocrite and a critic of US officials over the deaths of innocent civilians while complicit in the suffering of innocent people in the Gaza Strip.

Curry poured in millions of dollars

Bear doesn’t hold back in the continuation of his article about the two-time league MVP, detailing Curry’s alleged investment ties, claiming he poured tens of millions into tech ventures owned and operated by Israeli spies.

“The previously unreported story of Curry’s ties to Israel and his ties to Israeli military intelligence underscores once again how pervasive Zionist influence is in the West and how Zionist networks purposefully cultivate influential cultural figures.” Bear wrote.

“Curry’s Israeli ties also highlight the fake progressivism of many Democrats who decry racism and inequality, then collaborate with one of the most racist, unequal societies on Earth.” Bear added.

For now, the story is still in its early stages, and there is little publicly available information about Curry’s direct involvement in the wider situation, although his investment is legitimate. If Bear is to be believed, the story goes deeper than it first appears, as this isn’t Curry’s first connection to Israel.

In any case, it will be interesting to follow how this situation develops in the coming period.
