Democrats on the House Oversight Committee released photos from Jeffrey Epstein’s estate on Thursday — the latest in a series of disturbing revelations that have fueled significant political intrigue in recent weeks about who the convicted sex offender may be related to.
More than 60 photos released without additional context by panel members include multiple foreign women’s passports, an image of Epstein with three women whose faces have been modified around him, and several images reinforcing Epstein’s association with high-profile and powerful men.
There are several pictures of a woman’s body with quotes from the Vladimir Nabokov novel “Lolita” about a man’s sexual obsession with a 12-year-old girl.

And the images also include a screenshot of a snippet of a text conversation in which a man is discussing sending girls.

“Try sending someone else I don’t know. I have a scout friend he sent me some girls today. But he’s asking $1000 per girl. I’ll send you girls. Maybe someone would be good for J?” Reads a series of messages. The person then sends detailed information, including name, “18 years old,” height, measurements, weight, Schengen area note and “departure city.” Many details have been corrected, although the age, Schengen and check mark next to Russia are all visible.

Previous photos from Epstein’s estate released by Democrats have depicted the late financier’s private island and several powerful figures in his circle.
At least some of the men pictured Thursday are reported to have previously known Epstein, and some have been featured in previous images from the estate. CNN reached out to representatives for each of the men.
Recently released photos included philosopher Noam Chomsky on a plane with Epstein, two photos of Bill Gates with women whose faces were redacted by Democrats on the panel, conservative firebrand Steve Bannon and film director Woody Allen.
Bannon has previously declined CNN’s request for comment.
Allen has previously declined requests for comment from CNN. However, a spokesperson previously told the Wall Street Journal that he “never had a business meeting with Epstein and never once spent time with him without Soon-Yi also present.” (Soon-this is Previn Allen’s wife).
A spokesman for Gates has repeatedly denied that Epstein worked for him. Gates previously told CNN’s Anderson Cooper in 2021 that he regretted meeting Epstein: “It was a big mistake to spend time with him, to give him the credibility to be there.”
Chomsky, who previously declined CNN requests for comment, once wrote a letter of recommendation for Epstein, spoke with Epstein about science and philosophy, and invited Epstein to stay at his home in 2015.
The Edge’s 2011 “Billionaires Dinner” also featured photos of former YouTube CEO Salar Kamangar, Google co-founder Sergey Brin and New York Times opinion columnist David Brooks.
Brooks wrote an op-ed last month criticizing people for viewing Epstein as “the top issue in American life right now.” A New York Times spokesperson said in a statement to CNN, “As a journalist, David Brooks regularly attends events to speak with prominent and important business leaders to inform his columns, as was the case at this 2011 event. Mr. Brooks had no contact before or after this single appearance at the widely attended dinner.”
Kamanger and Brin did not immediately respond to requests for comment.
It was not immediately clear when or where all the photos in the collection were taken or by whom.
Democrats noted that the estate did not provide any context surrounding the images shared with the committee and said they had publicized them as they received them, except for their redactions. Democrats are still looking into which photos to release after the panel received more than 95,000 images from the estate last week.
Panel members have said with each release that they have redacted any personally identifiable information about victims and survivors, or if it is unknown whether the person pictured was a victim of Epstein’s abuse.

Oversight Democrats have released portions of photos handed over to the committee from Epstein’s estate last week, while the Republican-led panel has typically released documents and images in single drops after lawmakers have gone through them in their entirety. Republicans on the committee have accused Democratic members of “cherry-picking” images to paint a particular story.
“Oversight Democrats will continue to release photos and documents from the Epstein estate to provide transparency to the American people,” Ranking Member Robert Garcia said in a statement. “As we approach the deadline for the Epstein Files Transparency Act, these new images raise more questions about what the Justice Department has in its power. We must end this White House cover-up, and the DOJ must release the Epstein files now.”
The Republican-led committee obtained the images from Epstein’s estate as part of its ongoing investigation. The panel has so far released tens of thousands of documents, emails and communications it received from the Epstein estate.
In a letter to the committee, attorneys for the estate noted that they could review the requested videos and photos “taken at any property owned, leased, operated or used by Epstein from January 1, 1990 to August 10, 2019.”
While the committee said the documents obtained continue to open new lines of inquiry, the slow-rolling revelations from Capitol Hill have at times been quite painful for many of Epstein’s victims.
In a recent interview with CNN, a group of survivors said that not knowing when — and what — might come out any given day has been a stressful experience. They also said that some of the releases reminded them of trauma that went back years.
Hundreds of victims who believe they were abused by Epstein are pushing for the Justice Department to release the Epstein files — a revelation expected to be greater in breadth and scope than anything that has come out so far.
But the DOJ, which faces a Friday deadline to release its investigative files under a law passed by Congress last month, has not publicly detailed the specific timing or parameters of its upcoming release, and survivors who spoke to CNN said they had not received any outreach from the department.
