Nashville Predators defeated Panthers;  point streak in 16 games

SUNRISE, Fla. – The Nashville Predators defeated the Florida Panthers 3-0 at Amerant Bank Arena on Thursday, extending their streak to a franchise record 16 games.

Gustav Nyquist started the scoring at 17:47 of the first half, firing home a rebound past Panthers goaltender Sergei Bobrovsky. Filip Forsberg added the second goal on a power play at 7:32 of the second half.

Forsberg added a goal late in the third, bringing his season total to 38.

Kevin Lankinen finished the game with 33 saves, recording his first shutout in nearly three years.
