This is art for people who want to keep their heads down.
Literally, because the colorful art on display Saturday at the Yorba Linda Cultural Arts Center was all chalked on the sidewalk.
The center’s second annual chalk art festival featured several professional artists chalking vivid scenes, but it was also an event anyone could participate in, and many picked up pieces of chalk to add to their colorful expressions of creativity.
