“Thirty and Seven Wines” movie night at Cinema Bulevardi 14

“Summer Night at the Movies” will highlight Thirty Seven Summers and the movie “Steel Magnolias” at 6:30pm on Tuesday at 14 Boulevard Cinema in Petaluma. Presented by the Petaluma Gap Winery Alliance, the event will be hosted by Al and Lisa Brayton, owners of Thirty-Seven Wines, who will present their wines and discuss the unique grape growing conditions in Petaluma Gap. Places are limited, so book early.

Pool Party at Carneros Resort and Spa with Moët & Chandon

Carneros Resort and Spa is hosting an adults-only Moët & Chandon Champagne Pool Party from 3-6pm, September 17. Open to non-resort guests, the event will take place at the hillside pool overlooking the resort’s vineyards and will feature seasonal food by Executive Chef Jeffrey Jake; a selection of bubbles from Moët & Chandon; and local wine, beer and cocktails. Guest DJ Nicole Leone will provide the tunes. Guests choosing to stay overnight at the resort can save 20% on select accommodations by purchasing a Moët & Chandon Pool Party Package.

Miracle Plum says goodbye lunch, hello more wine

Natural Wine Heaven Miracle Plum is replacing their stale lunch items with more wine. Don’t worry—you’ll still be able to purchase food from their selection, like Rancho Gordo Heirloom Dried Beans and If & When Moroccan Preserved Meyer Lemon Pastry. Expect more wines by the glass, special wine tastings and limited edition bottles.

Also, at 6pm on Friday, September 2nd, Joni Davis will hold a class at Miracle Plum on the basics of fermented vegetables, with an emphasis on sauerkraut. Barbera release and cheese pairing at Muscardini Cellars

Labor Day weekend, Friday through Monday, September 2-5, Muscardini Cellars will be pouring the newly released 2019 Barbera from Pauli Ranch, with a complimentary cheese tasting. Curated by Wine Club Director Karen Hannah, the cheese pairing will feature sheep’s milk Manchego with truffle salt, honey and pistachios.

The winery will also host live music on the patio during Simmer Down Saturday from 6 to 8 p.m. on Saturday, September 3, with the Jami Jamison Band. Then, from 1pm on Sunday, there will be live music on the lawn during the Sunday Siesta, September 4, with the Backstory Trio.

Hip-hop at Horse & Plow, with Southern bites from Marla Bakery

Horse & Plow is launching a hip-hop concert series, Manifest Your Destiny, at 5:30pm on Friday, September 2nd at their winery and cider tasting room in Sebastopol. Marla Bakery will be on site with Southern-inspired fare, including hush puppies, fried chicken sandwiches, a summer panzanella salad and more.
