Matchday 30 of LaLiga starts this Friday at 9:00 p.m. We review the latest news before the start of this new date of the championship.

Maxi does not arrive

Cádiz will have Maxi Gómez out to face Granada. This was stated by Mauricio Pellegrino before the match, who commented that Roger is recovered and is evaluating whether to include him in the squad. Maxi’s absence will mean that Chris Ramos will line up up front alongside Juanmi.

Miguel returns to training with Girona

Michel will recover for the match against Betis Yangel Herrera, David López and Tsygankov, who were absent from the last matchday. Miguel Gutiérrez can be added to them, who has been suffering from discomfort for weeks but has trained with the group in the last sessions.

Guridi overcomes his discomfort

Luis García will be able to count on Jon Guridi to receive Real Sociedad. The Basque midfielder has overcome the muscle problem that he suffered last week and is already training with the group, so he will be available to play against his former team.

Brais, out for the rest of the season

Bad news for Real Sociedad, who lose Brais Méndez for the remainder of the season. The Galician midfielder fractured the fifth metatarsal of his right foot in training on Wednesday and will say goodbye to the 23/24 season. Brais has played 27 league games with 4 goals, 5 assists and 169 Comunio points as records.

Ronald Araujo could rest

Barcelona will play against Las Palmas on matchday 30 and Xavi could rest Ronald Araujo. The Uruguayan centre-back has muscle discomfort and perhaps the Blaugrana coach will choose not to force him and bring Íñigo Martínez into the starting team. Lewandowski, who played both Euro 2024 play-off games with Poland, could also rotate.

On the other hand, Andreas Christensen is still on the sidelines of the group recovering from his Achilles tendon discomfort. He will probably be out again this day.

Giraldez recovers from injuries

Renato Tapia and Williot Swedberg trained normally this Thursday and are aiming for Celta’s call to face Rayo. The one who is a doubt for that match is Luca de la Torre, on the sidelines due to a slight muscle injury. Aidoo, Ristic and Dotor are still out.

Uzuni and Lucas Boyé, between cottons

Sandoval has touched his two main offensive references with a view to his debut match on the red and white bench against Cádiz. Both Uzuni (Achilles tendinopathy) and Lucas Boyé (muscle discomfort) have not trained normally all week and arrive very close to the clash against the yellows. Both could force, but their ownership is not guaranteed.

David García, recovered

Jagoba Arrasate recovers David García for Osasuna’s visit to Almería, who has left behind the muscle injury that caused him to miss the last day. Unai García and Kike Barja are the only absences due to injury in the rojillos.

Sergi Canós, dubious ownership

Javier Baraja reviewed the current situation of his team in the press conference prior to the match against Mallorca (Saturday, 6:30 p.m.) and confirmed that he has some doubts about the presence of Sergi Canós in the match. The winger suffered a small muscle injury in the last game and although he has had a couple of training sessions with the group, the Ché coach is paying attention to his progress. If he is called up, he could be a substitute.
